Challenge Event
General Rules:
- A team shall comprise exactly 2 participants.
- The challenge consists of four levels, to be completed sequentially.
- Each level is subject to a specific time limit.
- Points are awarded based on the time taken to complete each level. Faster completion results in higher points.
- A 5-minute intermission is provided between each level for preparation.
- The use of phones, the internet, or any external resources is prohibited. Violation of this rule results in immediate disqualification.
Level-Specific Rules
Level 1: The Last Word (Word Guessing Game)
Time Limit: 15 minutes.
Objective: Guess the secret four-letter word within six attempts.
- Players enter a valid four-letter word as a guess.
- The game provides feedback for each letter in the guessed word:
- 🟩 Green: Correct letter in the correct position.
- 🟨 Yellow: Correct letter but in the wrong position.
- ⬜ Gray: Letter is not in the word.
- Each player gets six attempts per word.
- Each correctly guessed word earns 10 points.
Level 2: Squid Sketch (Drawing and Guessing)
Time Limit: 15 minutes
Objective: Draw clues for teammates to guess within a limited timeframe.
- One player draws, while others guess.
- The next player draws once an image is correctly guessed.
- Teams face 3 logical questions intermittently.
- Each correct guess earns 20 points.
Level 3: Red Light, Green Light (Logic Puzzle)
Time Limit: 20 minutes
Objective: Navigate a grid by solving logic puzzles.
- A grid displays safe (green light) and unsafe (red light) spots.
- Solve riddles or logic problems to determine the safe path.
- Incorrect answers result in a 2-minute time deduction.
- Correct answers allow progression to safe spots.
Level 4: The Last Signal (Communication Challenge)
First Round:
Time Limit: 10 minutes
Objective: The Mute Person communicates a riddle answer through gestures.
- The Deaf Person must guess the answer aloud.
- Rules for the Mute Person:
- No speaking or making sounds.
- Use only gestures and body language.
- Props or writing tools are prohibited.
- Rules for the Deaf Person:
- Must guess the riddle’s answer aloud within the time limit.
Second Round:
Time Limit: 8 minutes
Objective: The Blindfolded Person solves puzzles based on verbal instructions.
- The Deaf Person provides instructions based on flipcards.
- Rules for the Blindfolded Person:
- Cannot remove the blindfold.
- Must rely entirely on verbal instructions from the Deaf Person.
